This will be a great topic of my interest. I am wondering what the "average realtor" spends on his or her Real estate business each month. I will look at the results and make a determination of the average. Please be realistic and truthful if you can because I bet others will be coming back to this blog to see the results, thanks everyone!!

Full Page Ads Vs Farming By Mailings
In keeping things at a budget, if you had to choose between mailing out to let's say like 500 folks or putting in a full page ad in a newspaper...what would you choose? I will be interested in what you guys have to say. Let me know what you think about that, thanks!

Low Price Buyers And Looky Lou's
Hey Guys,
Just was thinking about the low price buyers...so you get the pre-qualification letter from the bank and let's say basically their is nothing on the market they can afford at this time...it is sad to say that to the customer but i tell them I will keep looking and hopefully something may come up and basically i will put them in a email campaign with the mls. What do you say for those folks that are on the real real low end of buying? Also I have had some situations where I feel like Ms. Customer is just looking around taking up time and not actually buying anything...sometimes that can be frustrating so I just tell them up front that within 10 to 15 properties you should find something suitable....Any suggestions on this? Thanks Again!
Emailing Customers
With various training tapes and things I have been told a good rule of thumb is to call existing folks in your database at least once per week and email them twice a week. Thanks to my new software I bought last year I am able to send email automatically and prewritten from Outlook..I purchased an add in software and I know I get busy with current customers but the trick is to keep calling the other guys while your closing deals with existing folks...I know I struggle on that sometimes which causes a delay on the next sale...this year I plan on trying to eliminate that. Real Estate can easily swallow 50 plus hours a week...I remember back when I first started when I was manually emailing everyone spending too much time and thankfully I only did that for a couple months until I found my tools I needed. Any suggestions on what you guys do to balance your existing deals while managing potential guys...obviously I want to handle as much as possible but sometimes it is better to refer it to someone than to loose it altogether...Your Thoughts Please? Thanks!
IDX links For Website...
I don't like the idea of manually putting in listings in my website...I do need the IDX link for the site but don't wish to pay he $200.00 Price tag and extra monthly expenses....but I desperately need a IDX link so buyers and sellers can view all the properties not just the ones that I enter by myself. I have my email program set up for customers who want email updates on homes for sale but for those customers that want more to view right now I don't have a solution unless I fork out extra cash....has anyone had a better solution for this? Please Tell me about your IDX experience or maybe you don't use IDX at all? Hymm Interesting Topic...Can't wait to hear from you guys.
